Warren Garton

Warren Thomas Garton, 74, of Morley, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at St. Lukes Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In honor of Warrens wishes, no services will be held. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Warren was born on July 5, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Darrel and June (Farrington) Garton. He was united in marriage to Kathryn Bishop on December 20, 1975, in Olin, Iowa.

Warren enjoyed being outdoors close to nature, whether it was hunting, fishing, or backpacking the Teton back country. He loved going on weekend road trips with his family.

Warren is survived by his mother, June Garton; wife, Kathie Garton; children, Aspen Garton and Autumn Garton; sister, Karen (Bill) Heneks; and nieces and nephews.

Warren was preceded in death by his father, Darrel Garton, and sister, Marcia Powell.
