Warren Bleakly

Warren L. Bleakly 83 of Mount Vernon died Tuesday September 28, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids from pneumonia. Graveside services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Blodgett Cemetery, rural Central City. Family and friends may gather Friday from 2:30 until 4:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices Mount Vernon Chapel for an Open House in Warren's honor. There will be no visitation. Surviving Warren is a daughter Sarah Blazek of Marion. Also surviving Warren are three grandchildren: Heather, Hunter, Haley Blazek of Marion; and a special cousin Betty L. Johnson of Vermillion, South Dakota. Warren married Rachel McDowell May 2, 1964, at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. Rachel died July 31, 1994. A memorial fund has been established.
