Steve & Family,
I am sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Ron when I worked at Brook View. He was very kind hearted and I will miss him.

Steve & families; so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. In the weeks I was blessed to care for him at Brook View it was always very enjoyable to chat & visit with him; if only briefly. When Ron would laugh when speaking; that laugh was unique. He appreciated every thing done to help him. I enjoyed being a small part of his life, caring & helping him. God Bless.
To Ron’s Family,
We were not only sadden about Ron’s passing but shocked. We had seen Ron that Wednesday morning and had a good visit. We talked about his health and old events. He shared thoughts aboutt our Grandfather Durr, who died before I was born. Ron swas alert, talkative and thanked us for coming. We promisead to visit him again.
I believe Ron was the oldest survivor of all of the 22 first cousins. The number is now down to seven.
We will miss Ron, but aaare glad we were able to have such a good visit the very day he passed.

My mom was Mary Elizabeth Durr, daughter of Carl M. Durr and Jane (Pierce) Durr, of Williamsburg. My father was Orville von Ahsen. Our sympathies to your family.
My grandfather Carl’s father was – Leonhard Georg, and his father was Johann Martin Durr.
Anyhow, I just wanted to send our sympathies.
