Nancy Carolyn Clancy 78, died Monday April 28, 2008, in her Mount Vernon Home from a long illness. Services, 10:00 a.m., Saturday at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel. Friends may call Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., at the chapel. Burial in Campbell Cemetery, Bertram. Nancy is survived by her children: Jim (Brenda), Cedar Rapids, Kenny (Becky) Pace, Florida, Susie (Steve) Pisarik, Mount Vernon, and Cathy Clancy, Mount Vernon, eight grandchildren: Michael (Melissa), Sara, Shannon, and Tara Clancy, Emma, Erin, Seth and Grace Pisarik, and one brother William C. (Sharon) Lynch, Cedar Rapids. Preceding Nancy in death were her parents; John and Cecil Crager Lynch, her husband Kenneth J. Clancy, brothers: Jack, Herbert, Tom, and an infant brother Dickey. Nancy was born January 22, 1930 in Vinton. She graduated from Vinton High School, attended the University of Iowa, and graduated from St. Luke's School of Nursing. She married Kenneth Clancy, February 14, 1951 in Cedar Rapids and made their home in Mount Vernon. Memorials may be made to the family for Parkinson's research, and or ALS Research, (Lou Gehrig's disease).
