Violette "MistyDawn" Ramsey, 78, was called home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2025, in Shellsburg, Iowa, surrounded by her beloved family. Born on April 17,1946 in Iowa City, Iowa, to William Ramsey and Joyous Keefer, and grew up in West Branch, Iowa. She lived in California for 25 years with her partner William Vigil, before moving to Arizona to be closer to her children and grandchildren.In her leisure time, she found joy in gardening. She participated in various bowling teams. She loved to bake and would often share treats with neighbors and everyone who she met. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Merry Landenberger; partner William Vigil; great-grandson Dean Dicus. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Stecher Jr; her daughters, Angela Brown and Shelli Antone, and brother William Ramsey, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her.
