Guestbook

  1. Dear Brimeyer family–I share your devastation and empty loneliness with the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I have worked with Larry as a Deputy Director for better than 10 years & I consider him to be a true friend. Larry could be trusted with any & ALL ideas or feelings–he was such a great listener & his feedback was so caring & nonjudgmental. My memories of Larry’s compassion and vision will carry me forward on the wings of the wind. My sincerest and heartfelt condolences. Jeanette Bucklew

  2. Larry was calm, kind, and considerate. He always was genuinely interested in the well being of others and a great listener. His contributions were without parallel.

  3. Our deepest sympathy to you during this time. We both worked with Larry at ASP. Larry was a special person whose memory causes us to smile. His encouraging word was always appreciated. May you find comfort in family, friends, and God’s presence during this difficult time.

  4. I have known Larry for a dozen years thru the Deputy Commissioners conference held each fall. I was the Deputy Director in Mn. for 12 years. Larry is the guy who urged me to learn “ballroom dancing.” Ittook some time but My wife and I started taking lessons. Each Year Larry and I would talk about the joys of ballroom dancing. I new Larry well enough to know that he was a kind and honest man who truly loved life, his work, but most of all his family. Family would include those of us who worked in his chosen field…. Corrections. My heart aches for you all and myself as well. With time, our loss will be filled with all the fond memories of larry. God Bless, Dennis Benson Minnesota

To Larry’s entire family I extend my sincere sympathy. as so often happens we loose connections with our high school friends, but anytime I refreshed those memories Larry came to mind. 8. My deepest sympathy goes out to Larry’s family. May it comfort you to know that death cannot diminish the many ways that Larry touched the lives of others. Larry brought a smile to everyone he met. He was a blessing to this world and I am fortunate to have met and worked with him on many issues. Larry was a humble, honest, sincere person. He was as genuine as they come and will truly be missed.

  9. Ben & family, I was stunned to hear of your fathers passing. I just lost my father Jan 12th and know all to well how you are feeling. Our fathers were so young.
