Kenneth Nace

Kenneth D. Nace 70 of rural Olin, died Saturday, August 14, 2004 in his home from complications of prostate cancer. Memorial services, 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Sharon United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids, by Reverend Gary Dobbins. There will be no visitation. Burial in Victor, Iowa city Cemetery, at a later date. Arrangements by Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mechanicsville chapel. Ken is survived by a foster son Travis Trimble, of Olin, three children: Lisa McVey of Davenport, Larry of Kilduff, Iowa, and Lynnelle Posner of San Diego, a brother Ray of Ladora, and six grandchildren. Preceding Ken in death were his parents and a brother Leslie. Ken was born May 9, 1934 at Warren Township, Powishiek County, Iowa, the son of Noel and Mildred White Nace. He graduated from Victor High School and attended Kirkwood Community College. He retired after many years with Iowa Electric. Memorials for Kenneth D. Nace may be mailed to P.O.
