Jennifer Sue Dawson, 71, of Chehalis, Washington, began the next part of her spiritual journey on September 15, 2026. She was born at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, daughter to Sylvan and Iris Dawson. Jennifer graduated from Linn Mar High School in 1973 before attending Iowa State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Daniel. She is survived by her husband, Emmanuel Anhalt; daughter, Shannon (Brian) Mead; son, Christopher (Ellie Howard) Paul; grandchildren, Aria (Westley) Smith and Alex Mead; siblings, Doug Dawson, Kristin Dawson, and Julie Meaker; and nieces, Miranda (Kevin) Hart and Brienna Dawson.
