Janice Buckallew-Pollock, 57, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, August 9, 2010, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Memorial Services: 2 p.m. Friday, August, 13, 2010, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her significant other, Earl Buckallew, Sr.; her mother, Dorothy Pollock, both of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Dennis (Brandy Overman) Pollock of Marion, and Earl (Kim Kruse) Buckallew, Jr. of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Loretta (Robert) Curtis, of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Richard Pollock of Iowa City, and Dennis (Vicki) Pollock of Solon; one sister, Sandra Pollock; step-daughter, Valerie Johnson of Parsons, Kansas; step-son, Virgil; and 16 grandchildren. Janice was born October 19, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Norman and Dorothy (Coppess) Pollock. She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, David.
