Gladys Elizabeth Albaugh, 85, of Mechanicsville passed away Friday, October 28, 2011, at Mechanicsville Care Center. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 31, 2011, at Morgan Funeral & Cremation Choices, Mt. Vernon. Visitation: 4 - 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville, Iowa. Survivors include four children, Douglas (Doris) Albaugh of Mechanicsville, Michael (Joyce Aubrey) Albaugh of Cedar Rapids, Christine (Martin) Werling-Witkoske of Coralville, Colleen (Richard Madden) Clegg of Iowa City; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joy (Phil) Rosenbaum of Perry. Glady was born September 28, 1926, in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Effie Mae (Eddy) Trierweiler. She was a woman's dorm custodian at Cornell College for 23 years, retiring in 1996. Glady enjoyed shopping, dining out, growing African violets, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Gregory and Kenneth.
