  1. Thank you!
    Grandma-
When I heard that you were gone my heart broke. I know that you were in a great deal of pain and wouldn’t want to continue to live like that however, I was sad because I got to know so little about you. There is one memory that was so awesome that you left for me and my family and I thank you so much for that. Last year, Thanksgiving night at Uncle Dave’s house, you played the WII with my oldest son, Braxton. We all laughed uncontrollably as you “bowled” against Braxton and teased each other. Each of you seemed to out do the other tit for tat with good humored sarcasm and wit. It was like the rest of us weren’t even in the room! It was the first time {and the last) that my kids spent time with you. It was an amazing night and will never be forgotten. Although I never really got to know you, I was left with a huge part of you.. my dad. Thank you, Partly due to you, I have one of the best dads in the world and my children have a Papa that they see every Saturday morning and fondly call Papa. I know that some of that kindness and love for his children and grandchildren comes from you. I love you Grandma. Please hug Shannon for us!

  9. I remember when I had my first sleep over with my great grandma. We had so much fun. In the morning, I remember that we played Sudoku. I didn’t get it at first but I really just wanted to spend time with her. That night we were having dinner and I said that I was stronger then her she told me she could take me on any time. It ended up with us arm wrestling and her winning.I will forever remember and miss her kind heart.

  10. Deb, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom.
I will really miss the times I spent with Evelyn. We always enjoyed a few cups of coffee and some great conversations after a haircut. She had such a great attitude about life. She was a fantastic lady, and I am so happy to have known her. I have known Evelyn & Dick 44 years. I will always miss both of them.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
