Dorothy Kathleen Wagaman, 77 of Lisbon, died Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Hallmark Care and Rehabilitation Center, Mount Vernon, from cancer. Private graveside services, Tuesday, at Lisbon Cemetery, by the Reverend Tom Mattson. It was Dorothy's wish to have no viewing or visitation. Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Surviving Dorothy are a sister-in-law Pauline Wagaman of Lisbon, a niece Kathy Wagaman Mobley and her husband Ray of Inverness; Florida, three great nephews: Jeffrey, Jamie, and Jason Crow all of Lisbon, a great great niece Mattea B. Crow of Cedar Rapids, and a great aunt Ruby Kellerhals of Tipton. Preceding Dorothy in death were her parents and her brother Dale who died, April 13, 1991. Dorothy was born December 27, 1926, in rural Linn County, the daughter of Charles and Pearl Becker Wagaman. Dorothy graduated from Lisbon High School in 1944. She worked as a grocery store clerk, worked for fifteen years as secretary for the Lisbon Creamery, drove school bus for Lisbon Schools and retired after nineteen years with Collins Radio at Cedar Rapids. Dorothy was a member of the Lisbon Order of Eastern Star, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union of Cedar Rapids.
