Evelyn LaVonne "Bonnie" Feuss, 74 of Lisbon, died Sunday, January 9, 2011, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. A service celebrating Bonnie's life will be 10:30 a.m., Friday at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, by Pastor Tom Mattson. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon. Interment will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Surviving Bonnie are: her husband, Bill, four daughters: Betty Hall, Lisbon, Beverly (Thomas) Marshall, Moore, Oklahoma, Brenda (Ron) Bedell, Lisbon, and Billie-Jo (Randy) Sedlacek-Harman, Mount Vernon. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. Preceding Bonnie in death were her parents and sister, Dixie Vandersee. Bonnie was born April 1, 1936 in Ely, Iowa, the daughter of William and Mildred Baird Klouda. She married William "Bill" Feuss, December 24, 1952 in Cedar Rapids. Bonnie worked for Marriott International Incorporated, at Cornell College for several years until retirement. She was also a member of the Lisbon United Methodist Church and the Ostomy Club of Iowa. Bonnie loved baking, quilting, playing cards, fishing, going to the casino and spending time with family and friends. Memorials in Bonnie's honor may be sent to the: Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), Univ. of Iowa Adult Leukemia and Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, or the American Cancer Society.
