Alice James

Alice Mae James, 83, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. Funeral: 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2026, with a visitation held one hour prior. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Brandon Cemetery at a later date. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Alice was born on May 20, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Roy and Maxine (Davis) Good.

Alice worked for 40 years at Rockwell Collins and retired in 2006.

Alice is survived by her children, Christine (Scott) MacTaggart, Vicky McNally, Cindy (Rick) Ness, and Brian James; grandchildren; Devon, Danny, Shawn, Austin, Angel, Sara, and Amber; great-grandchildren; Dimitri, Donovan, Dejah, Drake, D’Anna, Danica, Darius, Elias, Valarie, Gabriel, Lillian, Charlie, and Peyton; sister, Margaret Reilly; and brothers; William (Marlene) Good and Jim (Ellen) Good.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Megan; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Reilly.
