We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services – Mount Vernon
Worked at the nursing home with Alberta. Such a hard worker and what a sweetheart. She will certainly be missed. R.I.P. ALBERTA
I have fond memories of visiting with your mom Alberta and your dad Carl. I love when we would be able to come down and eat at the restaurant or we would eat at Bishop’s in Cedar Rapids as a group. Your mom was always so sweet always loved her laughter. I remember when my dad Clarence went fishing with your dad Carl. I always thought about your mother and wondered how she was doing . Condolences to you for the loss of your wonderful mother.
Sincerely Dawn(Achenbach) Lambert
Alberta and I made hats for the newborn at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, and it was always fun to visit with her, whether in her apartment or at the Care Center. My sympathy to her family at her passing.

One of my best years ever. As an exchange student in Iowa. I got a new family, a new mother and brothers. True friends. And an awesome grandmother.
A grandmother who was always happy and cooked good food. Maybe we will meet again another time, another place.
