Eric, I will never forget how Marilyn’s face would light up whenever she would talk about ‘my boy’.
Your attitude and actions when it came to Gram’s care and safety set the bar high for the rest of us (for sure). While we have lost Marilyn to heaven we know that she was greeted with open arms and you have gained a special guardian angel.
I am so blessed to have known your Gram and I will continue to smile whenever I think of her.
Sending you love and prayers. Jen

So sorry to hear about Marilyn’s passing. You have the sympathy of the Americal Legion Auxiliary Department of Iowa. Marilyn was also my District Sister President. We enjoyed some good times in 2003-2004. I remember picking her up to go to Convention in Marshalltown and on her way she remembered she forgot her sash. She wouldn’t let me turn around and go back to get it–it was bad luck! So her grandson drove all the way to Marshalltown to get the sash to her. I was so surprised that year when I learned her daughter was Wanda Crombie. We had taught together many years before.
Our thoughts are with all of you. Cindy Meyer, Department Chaplain and Past 4th District President
Eric & Sarah- We’re so sorry for your loss. You now have a special angel watching over you both. Much love- Brian & Sarah

We are so very sorry to hear of “Mrs.Webbers'” passing. I say MRS. because she always would say-“call me Marilyn”. I am the grandaughter of “Fritz and Toots ” Fedeler ,Hawkeye. I have many fond childhood memories of summer vacation stay days and playing with Rochelle and Mardella at your parents house, both next door and after they moved. I remember hearing and dancing to Sonny and Cher records! ha! Your parents were good to us as newlyweds getting started in our 1st little house on west 8th ave. in Marion. We had bought our 1st new car in 1978 and your Dad came and helped shingle the garage (with my Dad and David)we built to put it in.Always loved seeing your Mom-at the stores or catching a short visit with her at her home. Both my parents have passed (dad in 2001 and my mom in 2009), they had a great fondness for your parents. Our sincere sympathy to all of you. You were blessed.
We are so terribly sorry to hear of Marilyn’s passing. She was sweet, sweet lady and has been missed since she entered the retirement center. Our prayers are with you and your family during this trying time.
