Linda Ann Allison, 56, of Hiawatha, died on Friday, November 23, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Family and friends will gather from 1-4 p.m. with a sharing of memories at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her parents, William and Doris Allison of Topeka, Illinois; son, Skyler (Alex Wenndt) Allison of Cedar Rapids; fianc��, Robert Shifflett of Hiawatha; sister, Karen (Jim) Knoedler of Springfield, Illinois; nephew, Caleb Allison; niece, Allison Reid; and her cats, Mow, Butterball, and Boxes. Linda was born on July 8, 1962, in Havana, Illinois. She graduated from Forman High School in 1980, and received a Certificate in Accounting from Robert Morris College in 1981. Linda most recently worked as a sorter for the Salvation Army. She enjoyed everything outdoors, especially camping and tending to her flower garden. Linda will be remembered for her smile and love she had for everyone. Her family was very important to her and they will miss her so much. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Allison. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
