Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. At last. Finally, Gladys heard, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” After our Lord welcomed Gladys to heaven, I’m sure many friends, including my mom, Vera Klumpar, were there to greet her. I remember how mom looked forward to Gladys’ turnip soup every year. What a wonderful friend she was to mom. God bless you all.

  2. I hope you all know the fun stories Aunt Glad left behind and what a huge party she is now having with her friends and family. She always made me laugh and made some of the best chocolate puffs I’ve ever eaten… Please accept my sympathy and well wishes to you all. Ellen Thornwall

  3. I’m sure also she’ll be riding right along with my
mom who just passed away (on
    Thursday). She, my dad,
Glady and Don were life long
friends. Glady was always a joy to be around in those days at Olivet. There’s gonna be a great reunion party in heaven for all the Oliveterans!

  4. Gladys will be missed by many people, she was so dear and very close to my son Keith. Now they will be together again. Our deepest condolences.

  5. I still think of Aunt Glady when I make her cherry bars and coffee cake deluxe. And …if no one tells me how wonderful the supper was, I have been know to say, “Good dinner, Gladys!”
And I will NEVER forget her working out with Jack Lalane!

  6. I never new the lady, but got to know her son, Tim at Taylor School in 6th grade in 1953. I had just moved to C.R. in Feb 1953 from Adel,IA. Tim was very polite and I am sure he got that from his mother. She did a fine job raising her (2) children. I will be sending a Memorial to her Church (Olivet Presbyterian Church). Mrs. Miller is like my sunday school teacher that I had at Cedar Christian Church. 1953 to 1959. We never forget our Sunday school teachers.
