Timothy "Tim" Kniffen

Timothy Charles Kniffen, 75, of Lisbon, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at his home surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, Iowa, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Tim was born on November 20, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Mullinex) Kniffen. He was united in marriage to Patricia Wirth on May 3, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Tim worked at DW products in Cedar Rapids. He loved to skeet shoot and go fishing.

Tim is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Tracy (Jerry) VanDee; grandchildren, Vania Kniffen and Matthew Kniffen; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Pamela Rickabaugh; nieces, Crystal (Brad) Burgess and Heather Henderson; and two great-nieces and one nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank St. Croix hospice for the extraordinary care that Tim received.
