  4. I really got to know Doris the last 5 years working with her at Bon Appetit. She amazed me at what a hard worker she was for such a little lady. She was a very caring and sweet woman. We had many good talks and I could always count on her to make me smile. She will be so missed at work but we know she is with her savior.

  5. I can’t even tell you what a great asset Doris was to us here at Bon Appetit . She was such a hard worker, with boundless energy and walked circles around many of us who were years younger than she. She never complained, always had a smile on her face and loved to talk about her puppies. Her love of Jesus was evident in all she did and she lived out daily what that calling was. I know many students will be saddened to know Doris will not be at Cornell Hilltop Café any longer. So grateful she is no longer in pain and in the presence of her Savior, rejoicing with all her family and loved ones who have gone on before her. You are loved and will be missed, Doris…

  6. Doris will be missed as a co-worker and friend to her extended Bon Appetit work family. Doris was such a caring person, always finding the good in people and any situation. The students will miss her smile and warm greeting. I will miss her faith in God and human kindness. And although this is a loss to us, we are happy in the knowledge she with her Savior. May you rest in Peace of our Lord.

  7. We were so blessed to have had Doris in our lives. She was a kind and loving person to all she met and would do anything for anyone. A true testament to her faith and an example to all. May you rest in peace sweet lady.

  8. I have worked with Doris since she has been at Bon Appetit. I always enjoyed hearing about her dogs.

She was so proud of her family!! She was a very religious
person and her faith was very important to her!! She is
now with God and he will take care of her and she will no
longer be in pain!! I will truly miss working with her and she will always have a very special place in my heart!!

  9. We prayed and talked together before class started when we taught at Grace. She was a happy, funny, encouraging friend!

  10. Mrs. G. Was one of the best teachers I had in school, she made math easy to learn. Her faith in Jesus was evident in every way. My Mom told me a funny story, her and Mrs. G. We’re soul winning partners, and one Saturday my Mom was driving and talking, and she turned the corner to tight, and hit the curb. They got out, to look at the car, and the front finder came apart. Mom asked me for my purse strap, and she tied it around the finder. Mrs.G was laughing so hard, she said” that’s ingenious of you Mrs. Karla.” We love Mrs.G, and will never forget her, her smile, her thoughtfulness, and her love for the Lord. Love Victoria

  11. I really enjoyed working with Doris, Doris had a great love for dogs and knew that when she watched our dog he was in very good hands. Her smile and positive attitude will be missed.

  12. George and Shirley, you have my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your sister. So very sorry to read of her passing. My thoughts and prayers also go out to Doris’s sons and their families. Please take comfort in knowing your loved one had “a life well lived” and now she is at peace.

  13. Howard and family – Your mother sounds like such a bright light in this world. May you find comfort in happy memories, knowing she’s still shining. Our sympathy is with you as you adjust to your loss. Sincerely, Dan and Sandy
