Jade left our world after a very strong fight with cancer. He will always be remembered with a smile on his face, a song in his heart, and saying, 'one day more is all we need'.
You have touched so many lives and inspired so many. That’s very evident in the faces and hearts of everyone here with your work family. We’ll miss you greatly – you put up an amazing fight. Rest in peace, Jade.
Jade was one of a kind, and I feel privileged to call him my friend. I know the coming weeks will be difficult, but he wouldn’t want us to be sad. Celebrate his love for life, and cherish each memory you made with him. –Lynne Smith
One of my favorite memories of Jade was in May of 2014. We sponsored an event benefiting the U of I Children’s Hospital on a particularly windy and very sunny afternoon. It was so windy, the canopy blew away and crumpled into a mess making it unusable. For the next 4 hours, Jade – with a giant smile – continued to host our part of the event in the extreme sunshine with no shade nearby. As he walked away at 4pm, with a nasty sunburn he would be nursing for two weeks, he said two things to me as I was just starting my shift: “If this were Halloween, I could knock right now in my lobster costume” and “It hurts now, but those children are dealing with much more than a simple sunburn.”
Jade was so awesome! I am so sorry for your loss, Jade was a good man and I am grateful that I got to know him. He will be so missed at Mediacom, we loved him, too. Godspeed to his family and friends. Deb Trewin
Jade will always be one of my very favorite people in the world. What a great personality to be around – we laughed every day when we worked together at hibu. And we shared the same birthday! One of my favorite memories is of him making fun of me trying to eat a piece of licorice. He was a real sweetheart and genuinely cared for those around him. I am terribly sorry for your loss and pray that you can find peace knowing Jade is no longer suffering. God bless.

Profoundly sadden to hear of Jade’s passing. He was a pleasure to work with and get to know. It saddens me that people like Jade are taken so young in life. His cheerfulness, smile and gentile nature will be greatly missed.

I’m sad to hear about Jade. I remember him from high school always doing his part in band and his other extracurricular school activities. He always had a kind word and some quiet insight.
