Virginia Richardson, 67 of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Peoria, Illinois, died Friday, January 6, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Private Family Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband of over 32 years, Jeff; son, Joshua (Jackie) Cook; sister, Charlene Jackson; four step-children; 11 grandchildren; one great grandson; and many extended family members.
Virginia Irene Richardson was born January 4, 1950, in Peoria, Illinois, to Charles and Ruth (Clemmer) Jackson. She graduated high school in Peoria Illinois, and married Jeffery Richardson on April 24, 1984, in Peoria. She enjoyed shopping and attending flea markets, traveling to see family, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sherry Catton.
