Guestbook

  1. It is impossible for me to pick a single memory of my dear Uncle. The time he let me have ice cream for breakfast, the time we watched fireworks and he let me climb through the back window of his truck, the first time I flew and he made certain to watch the progress of my flight on his iPad, the time we took a weather spotting course together, the hundreds of meals and gathering we shared, the first time I ever drank alcohol with him, watching the Hawkeyes play, the thousands of hugs and laughs we shared…

He was such an amazing, kind and deeply supportive man. A rock in the storm. I miss him so much already.

  2. The O’Brien brothers spent a lot of time rebuilding cars with Tom just after high school and his Aunt would always check on us to make sure we were all right–often saying good night as it was very late. I will miss Tom for his unabashed trash talk about my Ford while he praised his Plymouth to no end. Goodbye my friend.
