Timothy Treptow

Timothy 'Tim' Treptow, 45, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center, Iowa City, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Tim was born August 10, 1979, in Lincoln, Nebraska, son to Robin Treptow and Jeffalee Haakma. He graduated from Benton Community High School in 1997 and drove truck for MJS&S. Tim was united in marriage to Dawn Davis in June of 2018. Tim was very family oriented who loved life. He loved to fish, hunt, golf, read, ride on his Harley, and spend time with his niece and three step-children. He is survived by his father, Robin Treptow; mother, Jeff Haakma; loving wife, Dawn Treptow; step-children, Daniel Heusner, Christopher (Meghan) Heusner, and Samantha Heusner; brother, Nicholas (Maggie) Treptow; niece, Sabrina Treptow; mother-in-law, Cathy Davis; brother-in-law, Dustin (Marie) Davis and their children, Samuel Davis, Grace Davis, and Hannah Davis; and many loving family members and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerrit (Barbara) Haakma and Clarence (Lucille) Treptow; sister-in-law, Denise Davis; father-in-law, Sam Davis; and several cousins.

    The staff at the UPH St. Luke’s Endovascular Lab send our deepest sympathy to Tim’s family and friends. We all got to know Tim through the care we were privileged to provide. Tim was a kind-hearted person that will suffer no more. He is uplifted and remembered for a life well lived.
