Tim Rooney

Timothy Joseph Rooney, 72, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his children, Colin (Heather) Rooney, Noel (Kim) Rooney, and Callie Rooney; grandchildren, Aurora and Iris; siblings, Jim (Karen) Rooney, Marilyn (Frank) Fish, Kathy Heildelberg, and Kevin (Connie) Rooney; and many nieces and nephews.
Tim was born on August 13, 1949, in Jefferson, Iowa, the son of James and Helen (Cuddy) Rooney. On June 14, 1975, he married Sheila Volkering. Tim enjoyed golf and reading.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Helen; wife, Sheila; and brother, Mike.
