Thomas Lowell White, 31, a beautiful young soul gone too soon, died on Wednesday, December 25, 2019. Services will be private for the family. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Thomas was born on May 22, 1988, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Steven and Mary Jean White. He was a gifted artist, musician, and a loving, caring, generous soul. It will be his laughter we will miss most of all. Only the good memories will remain with us.
Thomas was the first friend I had when I moved back to Iowa all the way back in 8th grade. The part that stood out most about becoming friends with Thomas, was that you become family right away. For all of my high-school days, it was the four of us. Thomas, BJ, Alan, and me. We spent almost all of our time either at the White’s house, where we were treated like family, or out roaming the town. He was always the life of the room. The first and the loudest to laugh. Always up for having fun. I’ll miss Thomas and his always far reaching goals. He knew he was meant for something great, he just lost sight of it somewhere along the way. Thank you Thomas and his family, for being a big part of my life.
I didnt know Thomas for a long time, only a few months really, but in that time the word I could best describe him was Vibrant. He was fast with a joke and quick with the wit. He shared your ups and downs and tried to help as much as he could. I hadn’t seen him in years, but hearing he had passed made the world dimmer. May you have found peace, man. I’ll miss you.
Sympathy to the family. I will always remember Thomas as the first person to call me MR BOB . His memory will forever be cherished .
So sorry for your loss. Thinking of you and your family.
Known Thomas since birth. Shelma will “show him the ropes” in Heaven and will talk his ear off! The pain will fade, but the love never will. He will be missed.
Rest In Piece Thomas.
