Theresa J. Lundon-Slover, died on July 30, 2013. She was born on June 8, 1948, in Cedar Rapids to Francis Edward Lundon and Velma Catherine Anderson-Lundon, the fourth of five children. She attended Immaculate Conception elementary school and graduated from Regis High School in 1966. She attended Mount Mercy College, Colorado State University and graduated in 1974 from Minot State College in North Dakota. She worked for the State of Kansas in Topeka, primarily in energy related data development, analysis and utilization. She had lived in Merriam, Kansas since 1999. Theresa had a lifelong love of learning, especially in genealogy and enjoyed a broad array of handicrafts. Theresa is survived by two sisters, Cathy Heng of Midland, Michigan, and Ruth Green of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Frank (Coralou) Lundon and David (Beth) Lundon, both of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews. It is Theresa's wish that in lieu of memorials/flowers any such funds be directed to a local homeless or crisis shelter. A visitation for Theresa will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Anamosa.
