Thelma June Thompson

Thelma June Thompson, 99, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, April 8, 2011, at Living Center West, Cedar Rapids. Per Thelma's wishes there will be no services. Arrangements by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Thelma was born June 10, 1911, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Elmer and Myrtle (Noland) Totton. After her father's death and mother's remarriage, she was adopted and raised by Fred Thompson. She worked 43 years as a file clerk for Iowa National Insurance Company. There are no immediate survivors, yet she will be remembered by friend and former neighbor, Tracie Maurice and her family. Thelma was preceded in death by her mother; fathers; and sister, Jeannette Totton, who died in 2005.
