Tamara Jean Englert, 62, of Lisbon, Iowa, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 23, 2022. A celebration of life will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon. A private family burial will be at the Lisbon Cemetery.
Survivors include her son, Cullyn Englert and her brother, Douglas Englert.
Tam was born July 27, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Bohr) Englert. She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1977 and attended the Patricia Stevens School of Modeling and Fashion Merchandising in Omaha, Nebraska. She had a variety of jobs and was a very hard worker. Tam loved spending time with her family, traveling all over and loved taking trips with her family. She also enjoyed chasing hot air balloons and had many fun trips to the casino with her mom and dad that included many jokes to reinforce the great memories. Another hobby was cheering for the Chicago Bears and it was a love hate relationship. Tam stayed faithful to the Bears through the years and was a support system for her mom, brother, and son through the roller coaster seasons. All of you Bears fans know and understand the pain!
If you had an opportunity to meet Tam, you probably have funny stories or memories that will last a lifetime. She will be greatly missed!
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Joyce Englert, and her brother, Michael.
