Stella Orra Mullan

Stella Orra Lacey Mullan, 50 of Tipton, formerly of Mechanicsville, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House, Hiawatha, from cancer. The visitation and will be Thursday, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Morgan Funeral and Cremation Choices, Mount Vernon Chapel. Graveside services, Saturday, 12:00 noon at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville. A light lunch will be served at the Mechanicsville Memorial Building after the graveside service. Stella was born August 15, 1959 to Elvis "Bill" and Shirley Lacey, in Cedar Rapids. Surviving Stella are her husband Jon, and son Daniel (Nicole) McMurrin, Tipton, son Shane (Giovonnte) Auchenbach, Bettendorf, son Justin Mullan, Mechanicsville, and daughter Kellie (Tom) Steffenson, Lisbon, many grandchildren and one great grandson. Stella is also survived by four sisters; Betty, Debbie and husband Keith, Rosie, and Tina; and two brothers, Rick and Billy. Stella babysat many children in Mechanicsville, and worked for Holiday Inn and Baymont Hotels in Cedar Rapids. Stella loved to travel, she like kids, and loved to play bingo and slot machines. Her smile and take charge style will be missed by everyone. Mother Theresa will be getting a great helper.
