Sharon Scholl, 74, of Mechanicsville, died Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at home after a long illness. Private Family Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, is caring for Sharon and her family.
Survivors include her children, Patrick 'Scott' McAmis and Christopher Scholl; granddaughter, Ashlynn Scholl; siblings, Nancy and June Juett; and many extended family members.
Sharon Ann Maltas was born May 4, 1945, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Charles and Helen (Petersen) Maltas. She became a nurse after high school, worked for the school as a lunch lady, drove truck, and most recently for Gwen's in Lisbon. She enjoyed TV shows Law and Order, NCIS, and American Pickers. Sharon also enjoyed to crochet, knit, complete crossword puzzles, and read.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, James 'Jim' Wolverton, husband, Don Scholl; son, William 'Kale' McAmis; and special friend and companion, Terry Flynn.
