Rohn Shepley

Rohn Kevin Shepley, 67, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the home of his brother, Alan, in Mount Vernon Iowa. He was born March 22, 1954, to L.A. (Jack) and Dorothy (Stevens) Shepley. Rohn graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1972. He attended Indian Hills Community College receiving an associate degree as a machinist. Rohn worked for Berkley then Pure Fishing in Spirit Lake for 28 years retiring in 2019. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and also liked attending gun shows. Rohn was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jack. He is survived by sister, Rene' Shepley Ragan (Rick) of Sedona Arizona; brother, Alan Shepley (Barbara)of Mount Vernon, Iowa; nephews, Jim and Mark Whigham, Scot, Eric and Ryan Shepley; niece, Sara Shepley Baitinger; great nieces, Sarah Henry Cosentino, Rylynn, Halie and Robin Shepley; great nephews, Sion and Corin Shepley and Jack and Charlie Baitinger; and great-great niece, Luna Henry Cosentino. Private family services will be at a later date. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Mercy and family and friends for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice of Mercy.
