Rodney Wesley Hensell Foster

Rodney Foster, 55, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at his home. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, with military honors at 3:30 p.m. He is survived by daughter, Renae and son-in-law, Jordan Brackin; son, Sam Foster; grandson, Wesley; six step-children; and many other grandchildren, family, and friends. Rodney was born December 22, 1955, in Moline, Illinois, the son of Hensell and Phyllis Foster. He served in the U.S. Navy for six years and then worked as a machinist.
