Robin Welbes-Kane

Robin Lynn Welbes-Kane, 63, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Rosary 4:00-4:30 p.m., with Visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2026, Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 13, 2026, with visitation held at 9:30 a.m., until the service. St. Patrick Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Robin was born on February 5, 1963, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Sandra (Foell) Williams. She was united in marriage to Stephen Kane on April 21, 1990.

Robin loved doing crafts, going to concerts, and scrapbooking with her friends. Family vacations were always a highlight of her life. But most of all, Robin lived her life to enjoy her children, and especially her three grandsons, who called her Nini.

Robin is survived by her husband, Steve Kane; children, Natalie (Matt) Tunnicliffe and Jeremy Kane; grandchildren, Kane, Waylon, and Brooks; and siblings, Shelby Welbes and Dawson Williams.

Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Williams; and Maternal grandparents, Rachel & Delbert “Tip” Fullbright.
