To all the Weldon Family: you just know it is coming as we all get older but it sure doesn’t make it any easier. So sorry to hear about Bob and we hope to see you there. Joe Harrington and Family, Checotah, OK.
Thank you Joe, it’s nice to hear from family at a time like this — margaret weldon kirkpatrick
Bob at Francis & Georgia’s farm in 1986 and their retirement home in Britt in 1990
Thanks for the pictures Tom, looking at them it still seems impossible he is gone, but they bring back a lot of good memories!
I have many fond memories of Bob and the Weldon brothers playing at the SaPaDaPaSo post parade parties and at the Irish Hooley fundraisers up at the old KC Hall. I still have one of those little green “Weldon Brothers” song books. He always had a smile. It was always fun to see the Weldon’s play. Sail on my Irish friend. Please accept my deep sympathies. Pretty sure this is Bob on the banjo……from the square green button they are wearing the year would b 1988….29 yrs ago…….God Bless you all. Tammy Hill- Maneely – 2017 SaPaDaPaSo president.
Thank your Tammy! We all share those memories with you. And don’t worry we won’t charge you for the song book. 😉 Theresa (Weldon) Nelson
So sorry for your loss. Our condolences to the family. I remember Bob playing at the SaPaDaPaSo celebrations. He will be missed by one & all. May he rest in peace.

thank you Chris — St Patrick’s’ Day music was a big part of our life — my brothers even took it to the nursing home the last couple years.
Hello Weldon family,
Sending our love and sympathies to all of you. We loved his smile and his love of Irish music🍀

Thank you to all.
Mike, Judy & Family;
Our sincere condolences in the passing of your Dad, Father-in-Law and Grandfather. Mike, if you’re anything like him, I’m seeing him painting the skies the color green next month to let the angels know he has arrived, if they hadn’t heard. May he rest in peace.
To all of the Weldon’s from the family of Junior and Bonnie Hutchcroft. Our deepest condolences. Your dad and mine were best of friends for many of years. So much so that in growing up, I thought you kids were my cousins. Prayers to you all.
Joe Hutchcroft

My condolences to the Weldon family. Bob was an icon on St. Patty’s Day at Hoolies. This next trip should find him with a full minnow bucket, Luckies in the shirt pocket, Hamm’s in the cooler, and gentle following seas. ……… Gene Owens
Gene — thanks for that visual! He was his own kind of “cool”
