Robert 'Bob' McKim, 64, of Mechanicsville, died on Friday, May 19, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, at the Mechanicsville United Methodist Church, by Rev. Barb Krueger. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Survivors include his wife, Alice; step children, Dawn (Brian) Seekings, Charles (Sharon) Bouttelle, and Frank Bouttelle; eight step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; and sister-in-law, Mary Wiley. Bob was born on October 6, 1952, in Ohio. As a child, he moved to Florida where he lived for many years. Bob was a cab driver in Florida for 40 years. On September 24, 1994, he married Alice Wiley. They moved to Iowa in 2002. He will be remembered as a kind and loving man who enjoyed taking care of others who needed help. In his spare time, he liked to play computer games and watch TV, especially wrestling. Bob was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Iowa Hawkeyes. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
