What a special guy he was.
Michelle and family,
May the time you shared with your father resonate in your heart.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I’m sad that Uncle Bob and Aunt Karen have passed on.
I remember following Uncle Bob around during family reunions and watching him find really cool treasures with his metal detector. It’s one of the things that really turned me on to history.
Aunt Karen was one of the sweetest ladies I ever knew–a lot like Grandma Stufflebeam.
Every time I think of Uncle Bob, I have to think of mushrooms! I just have a hard time thinking he and Aunt Karen are gone. I can’t help but smile when I think of the family reunions with Mom, Aunt Bonnie & Aunt Karen and their wine! Uncle Bob and his metal detector and ALL of us kids.
Michele and Mark, and family..so sorry for your loss, doubly hard since losing your mom so recently too. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

We are so sad for all of you. We know it must have been impossibly hard for him to go on because it was so obvious how broken-hearted he was after your mom died. Luckily for all of you, your dad and mom did a great job of raising you all to be strong and independent people. Now, they don’t have to be apart anymore. Love to all of you.
Bob was one my father’s dearest friends…a funny happy go-lucky fellow. He was loved dearly by all he touched. My condolences go out to all of Bob’s family & friends.
I remember meeting Bob at Donutland with my Dad EARLY in the mornings when we would drive in together. Bob was one of the few people who could make my dad really laugh and for that I thank him.
What do we say about Bob? He was the best man in our wedding and one of Dean’s best friends ever. It wasn’t surprising that he went downhill after losing his beloved, Karen. Your only consolation is that they are together again. We are very sorry for the sadness you feel now but your lovely parents are at peace and you have some wonderful memories to sustain you.
Love, Dean & Shelly
So sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Your California cousin, Megan
(Kathryn Stufflebeam’s duaghter)
To the family of Bob! Bob and I had lunch a few years ago when he was near Iowa Falls. He and I have many memories of our high school days and we had a mutual bunch of friends. Loved him much. My sympathy to you all.
Bob and his family and min were neighbors in Iowa Falls
in the 50’s. He was one great guy to be around. All
the best to his family.
