Richard C. Hasson, 46, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, January 1, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Stewart Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids.

I miss you everyday and wish you were here I loved you
I miss the hell out of you sometimes. Then I remember drunk belligerent Richard and don’t miss him all that much. We did manage to make a beautiful boy. I wish he could’ve known you. Sometimes I even believe we might have gotten our shit together and been happy raising him. I will always remind him how much you did love him. I will always love you.
