I was just a few weeks old when I attended the wedding of Uncle Ray and Aunt Ila Mae. I don’t quite remember that, but have many, many fond memories of Uncle Ray on the farm and after, and so glad to have seen him one more time just a couple of weeks ago. Wonderful man, and my mother’s much beloved “little brother.” RIP, and much love to all. Luther Lewis

Uncle Ray,
I’m so glad we got a chance to see you one last time, only two weeks ago. Mom’s little brother will be missed!

Our prayers go out to Ila and family. Ray was a role model for me in our church. His faith was something I always admired. I will miss him at our UMM breakfast meetings.
Our prayers go out to Ila Mae and family. I know Ray will deeply be missed. I remember Ray as being very passionate about the UMM and I had the privledge of presenting him his UMM lifetime membership. Although I have moved away I will always remember his devotions that he would give at our UMM meetings, He gave them with conviction and emotion, His love of the Lord was seen in his love of the church, people and Bible. We will miss him but he is now resting comfortably with Jesus.
(Thank you, Linda, for finding me today on facebook!) I just learned tonight that Ray is now with Jesus! I am so very sorry for your loss. Thank you to whomever sent the 60th Wedding Anniversary picture of Ila and Ray to us this past summer. I have wonderful memories of being the flower girl in their wedding many years ago 🙂 You are in our prayers… With love, Chet & Elaine Cusic
