  5. I first met Pat at Indian Creek Natures Center as we worked on projects. Then we also combined efforts at Lowe Park as Master Gardeners adding to the demonstration gardens. She knew her own mind & shared her thoughts willingly! I have missed Pat’s expertise and will continue to appreciate all I learned from her. My sympathy to all her family.

  6. Pat’s family—-
I am sorry to hear of your loss of Pat. I worked with Pat at Johnson Elementary where she was a wonderful reading specialist guiding new teachers. Pat’s smile and twinkle in her eyes brightened our days. Hold those good memories close to your hearts.

  7. I have fond memories of working alongside Pat as Master Gardeners- back when I was just a newbie. She was a ball of energy with a keen attention to detail. Last week, I was just thinking of her, as I usually do, when in Marion and driving by her old house.
    I’m sorry for you loss.

  8. I met Pat many years ago at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Our friendship deepened through the Master Gardener program. I recall her beautiful flower borders along the front fence of her Marion home and the boutiques from her cutting garden. She was generous with her gardening knowledge, a treasured gardening companion. May you find peace in memories of her.

  9. So sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. We “taught” 2 year old Sunday School together at St. Paul’s many years ago and enjoyed many volleyball games in their backyard. My condolences to Tom and family.
