I will always remember Nancy for her voice and the cookies she would serve me as a child. I will always remember sitting and watching the war in the gulf on TV with her and learning what it means to support our troops. I will remember the flag flown on their front lawn on Wright Brothers and the sense she had to be proud to be an American.
I will also remember the last time I saw Nancy before she received her diagnosis. We ran into each other at Hy-Vee and I remember how glad I was to see her.
Nancy was a very strong woman, a good neighbor, and a great adopted grandma.
Nancy – you are a beautiful woman. I pray that you are finding joy in the peace of eternal life in God’s loving presence. It must be nice.
Our prayers and sympathy are with the whole family at this time of loss. She is at peace now with no more pain & suffering. Many memories from days when American Legion Post 5 was still open. Will light a candle at St. Wenceslaus this weekend.
Have wonderful memories of your Mother. She is now in heaven with all her family and friends. My prayers to all of her family. Emilie and Bob
