  2. Our memories of you are many, but we will forever miss your beaming smile and your loving heart ❤️ Until we meet again, rest easy sweet Mon.

  3. Monica was a strong woman with a big heart. She will be missed by all that knew her. I want to thank her for all that she did for the boy scouts in troop 5200 . She helped them all to grow and flourish and words can’t express how grateful we all for that. RIP my friend.

  4. Monica you have meant so much to our family. We became friends back when the girls started girl scouts and you and I shared the role as girl scouts leaders back when they were in first grade all the way through middle school. We also shared the role of Service Unit Directors and were involved with Madison PTA (I remember when we went against the principal for the kids to have their talent show) and boy scouts. We were there for each other through our divorces. Even though our kids separated and went to different high schools we always stayed in touch. Then when you were diagnosed with the nasty cancer, I enjoyed coming to see you and bringing you mainly gift cards for HyVee which I knew you needed for your medications. It always made you smile. You always had a smile no matter what was being thrown at you. If you were down and wasn’t posting anything on Facebook several of us would message each other and say “Do you know if there is something more going on”? Normally there was and if your mood started turning sour all your friends would pick you back up reminding you what a fighter you were. You fought a long hard battle and you are no longer in pain. You are loved by so many and will be greatly missed my dear!

  5. Dear Marissa, Miranda, Jerod, Connie and Gerald, I am so very sorry about Monica. She was so full of life and positive energy. My heart goes out to all of you. Much love to all of you, Andrea Wiley (and Aidan, Emil, and Rick)

  6. Monica touched the lives of many young girls through Girl Scouts. Her spirit lives on in all of them. My sympathy and blessings go out to the family and close friends who are grieving.
