Melissa Morrissey, 60, of Stanwood, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at her home, surrounded by loved ones. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:30-7:00 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Beau Dylan's, Lisbon, Iowa. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Mount Vernon, Iowa, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Words cannot express how sorry I am. I am unbelievably sad that she is no longer with us physically but I am so damn lucky I had her as a best friend/compadre/partner in crime for 46 years. I will miss the hour long phone calls, the shared music, and the laughs, the road trips and the shenanigans when we were together. My heart goes out to so many that loved her. Kay, Ryan, Dylan, Kelsey, Greg, Shanna, Jason, thier families, and countless number of friends. Love you more. 💙🩵💙
