Mary L. (Crock) Maher, 97, formerly of Mechanicsville, died on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Clarence Senior Living, Clarence. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at St. Bridget's, Nolan Settlement, by Rev. Barb Krueger. All family and friends are invited to the memorial service at St. Bridget's. Inurnment at a later date at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville.
Mary was born May 1, 1918, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of A.J. and Susie (Dougherty) Crock. She was united in marriage to Clarence Maher on April 20, 1938. She was a member of the Mechanicsville Garden Club and Royal Neighbors
Mary is survived by her daughters, Janet S. (Maurice) Ford, Pamela (Russ) Shipp, and Annette (Ray) Carter; nine grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.

Janet and family, My thoughts and prayers to the loss of Mary. I have very fond memories of being over at her house when she babysat me. All the kids loved being there and having a great time. Mary was a great woman who taught so many people so many great things. She will be truly missed.
