Mary Kay Page, 60, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away after a battle with cancer on November 28, 2015. Memorial Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, December 3, 2015, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 1 hour prior to the service.
Survivors include her son, Dana Page; grandson, Kyler; brothers, Merrill (Judy) Wirth, and Jonny (Jeannie) Wirth; sisters, Patty (Tim) Kniffen, and Kathy Akers; former spouse, Jeff Page; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mary was born February 21, 1955, in Iowa City, to James and Edna (Petersen) Wirth. She graduated from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. Mary worked at Goodwill for many years. She enjoyed Elvis, collecting angels, and crafts. She was a creative person and a people person. She enjoyed spending time with her big family, who love and miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Jerry, Kenneth, Gloria, and Danny; brother-in-law, Dennis; and beloved cat, Simba.
