Marlene was a sweet woman who truly cared about every person in her life. She’d ask about my boys and my life every morning as I dressed her. She’d talk of her kids and grandkids. She was uplifting and loving. She was good with conversation. She gave me her tie-dye Mickey Mouse sweatshirt before she left Westridge. Told me to think of her every time I wear it..last time I wore it, she called me the same day I put it on. I told her she must’ve heard me thinking of her..lol She loved her family and friends deeply. Yet another one of a kind woman crossing my path, adding to the group of friends who I will one day see again. She missed her husband deeply, now reunited and I am 100% positive she’s watching us all with a big smile on her face. I love you, Marlene:)
So sorry to hear of Marlene’s passing. I enjoyed the few times that we got to see her and Mark as well. They were so fun to talk to and I just loved her smile, her whole face would smile! Sending our love to you all, Scott and Crystal Shay
