  1. We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services – Cedar Rapids

  2. Friend and best neighbor, we first met Lynnette (Lewis) when we moved into our new home in Cedar Rapids in 1981. She was smart, lively, creative and a red-headed beauty. With her husband, Dennis, we enjoyed countless happy times at her homemade gourmet dinners, visits to the Gusta’s cottage on the Mississippi River, plays on the grass at Brucemore, and so much more. When her daughter, Amelia was born, she quit her advertising job to teach and support her to adult hood at home and in school. When the August 10 derecho hit Cedar Rapids, damaging homes, trees and electrical lines, Lynette was out her back door at Sunrise to provide hot coffee! In forty+ years next door to Lynetta and ‘Gus’ we’ve treasured our exceptionally good luck in having such a fine couple as our friends and neighbors.
With loving memories of our dear friend, Lynnette (Lewis) Gusta.
