Lynda Williams

Lynda L. Williams, 72, of Marion, died on Friday, March 18, 2016, at UnityPoint St. Luke's Hospice Unit. Lynda requested no services, so the family asks that you catch a fish in her memory.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry; children, Teresa (Tim) Sackett, James (Mickie) Williams, and Jill Kreitman; brother, Ron (Jean) Shaw; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Lynda was born October 29, 1943, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of James and Dorothy (Diercksen) Shaw. On November 17, 1962, she married Jerry Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I worked with Linda and one Christmas she gave me a little boot carved from wood. Every Christmas I think of her and her kindness. I’m sure she will be greatly missed.
Lynda and her husband Jerry were very dear customers of mine whom I had the honor of knowing! My heart is heavy hearing of the loss of such a sweet kind gentle woman who never complained and always smiled💜 She had pain on a daily basis and yet she was always smiling! Rest in peace and free of pain beautiful💜 my thoughts and prayers go out to Jerry and family!
