Lisa Rose Boleyn, 61, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marion. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services is committed to caring for Lisa and her arrangements. Lisa was born July 8, 1951, in McGregor, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Erma (Miller) Boleyn.

Her love for animals was very evident, as she tenderly cared for her special family of pets.
We thank the Lord for bringing Lisa into our lives.
I grew up with Lisa. She lived down the block and across the street. I will always remember her pet rabbits. I has never known anyone with rabbits as pets before that.
Lisa was a childhood friend from St Joseph’s. I remember her fondly as always being friendly and kind. My deepest sympathy to all those who loved her.
Lisa shared her love of animals with us. We did not know her for very long, but we could talk forever about out cats and things they would do. She was a great person.
I knew Lisa from Blue Birds and Kindergarten. She only lived about 3 blocks from my house and Lisa, Jane Godar and I used to walk together to school. I remember her as a very sweet girl. My deepest sympathy to all of her friends and family.
