Lisa Ann Jackson, 65, of Denison, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed on Sunday, July 2, 2023, due to an accident at a residence. While most people know her children were the center of her life, but she loved her parents, brothers, and family deeply too. They also know her friendships were years strong and ever-growing. Lisa had a fantastic career as well. Many have reached out, sharing that she was helpful in their careers, academics, social life, and hearts. November 3rd would have marked her 19th year with the company. Before Toyota, she worked for 18 years at West Side Sewing in Cedar Rapids. Her joys were social time, a good round at the casino, luncheons, and time with friends watching the Hawkeyes, and her Christian faith. Lisa spent countless hours helping in Jackie's high school show choir, making and altering costumes and helping however she could. She enjoyed her spring flowers and designing her landscaping with Jordan's help. Miles separated us over the years, but it was always great to catch up when we had the opportunity – always lots of laughs. She will be missed.

  24. Dearest Jackie, and Jordon,
Our fond memories of your mom go back to Cedar Valley Bible Church days. What a delight she was! Her honesty and ability to just be herself was so refreshing! We would have thought provoking discussions and end up laughing at ourselves. (just what I needed!) We listen to the service wishing we could be there. Know that we are praying that the God of all comfort and peace would hold you both in His steadfast love. ❤️
Much Love, Karen and Tom Vinson

  25. Today, I am missing my friend Lisa. She and I started in the same training class at Toyota back in 2003, and she was always one step ahead of me in the training. She always seemed to have everything under control. One day I stepped out of class to go to the restroom, and when I came back, she was in the room next to our training room. She opened the door and pulled me in. She was crying, and I asked what was wrong. She said she didn’t think she would ever learn everything we needed to learn and was having a meltdown. She got me crying, and then we were laughing. She asked how old I was, and then she started to laugh/cry again because she said she was the oldest person in the class! Finally, after about half an hour, our instructor Julie found us. She said we would both be all right and didn’t need to worry about a thing. From that point forward, we knew we could do it, together! Over the years, we laughed about that meltdown many times, and I am so happy she moved up and had such a wonderful career at TFS. She and I had a bond and were always great friends. I will miss her so much, and I am sending my prayers and sympathy to Jackie and Jordan and the rest of her family. We lost a good one this past week, and she will not be forgotten. Rest in peace, my friend.

  26. Lisa’s giggle, smile, and definitely her love of music will never be forgotten. Thanks for always sharing a moon walk with Tara to end the day. Rest in peace my friend, you’ll definitely be missed!
